An oval pendant, large enough to do justice to this remarkable piece of greenstone. The swirls of texture and colour almost look like liquid as they appear to move within the stone.

Jewels of the Earth
The artist behind this creationJewels of the Earth sources their pounamu from Ngāi Tahu, the stone’s traditional custodians on the West Coast of New Zealand’s South Island.
Jewels of the Earth was brought to life by Paul Beinssen, who spent his boyhood scavenging on pebbly beaches. This developed into a ceaseless search for pounamu with intriguing patterns and contrasting hues.
We reserve some of the finest quality stone, and work with a limited number New Zealand's very best carvers and jewellers, to create exceptional greenstone statement pieces.
