A beautiful blessing!
“Donna Summers carved this piece so beautifully. It has already been a blessing to our family in a time of healing. The cord is also skillfully and beautifully woven. Thank you!!”

Donna Summers
The artist behind this creationDonna Summers embarked on her jade carving journey in 2019 after being encouraged by artist Ric Moor, her mentor and fellow carver.
After spending four years at the prestigious Whitecliff College of Arts and Design, her passion for detail and love of the arts made the transition to jade carving a natural progression.
The Roimata's tear-drop shape embodies the idea of healing and resilience, reminding us of the strength within our tears.
The Roimata
Roimata in Māori translates to tears, and when carved in pounamu, the tear-drop shape of the stone speaks to the depths of human emotion and the enduring connection between nature and spirituality. Just as natural world finds balance in its cycles, the Roimata, is thought to restore balance and well-being to those who wear it and is worn as a protective talisman, guiding individuals through life's ups and downs.
